The global pandemic saw school closures in over 180 countries.

Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) can contribute during and after the pandemic by helping to build resilience and to transform our lives towards a more sustainable world. While the search for new forms of remote learning continues in the prolonged pandemic, the second online workshop explores how ESD learning can take place under social distancing regulations, in high- and low-resource settings.

ESD practitioners across the world will share how they continued ESD despite the challenging situation during the pandemic. Based on these experiences, the session will explore how resilient ESD structures can be built to ensure that ESD learning continues during crises.
